From this section, you can monitor how learners are engaging with published courses, filter and sort data by various criteria, export reports for further analysis, and download course certificates. This article explains how to access the Curriculum section, understand its controls and data columns, and utilize its key features for effective learning management.
Steps to Follow
Accessing the Curriculum Section
Log in to your KnowledgeCity LMS as an administrator.
Navigate to the Curriculum section from the LMS left-side panel.
The Curriculum page will open, displaying a table of all published courses along with their progress statistics.
Curriculum Section: Controls and Listing
Opening the main Curriculum section displays a table of all published courses within your KnowledgeCity LMS. For each course, you can see key information such as Course Name, Course ID, Sub-categories, Course Type, and Progress metrics. Additionally, you will see the following controls to filter and manage your view:
Generate Report: Click Generate Report to export the current curriculum data for further analysis. Once the export process is started, a confirmation pop-up will appear with a link to the Reports section, where you can review and download the file.
Search Courses: Use the search field to find specific courses by typing the Course Name or Course ID. The table below will instantly update to show only matching results.
Course Status: Use this dropdown filter to narrow down courses by their status. Options include All courses or Active Courses.
Library Categories: Use this dropdown filter to display courses from specific Library Categories.
Course Types: Use this dropdown filter to show only specific Course Types (e.g., Lesson, External or Class).
Completion Data Submitted: Enable this toggle to automatically filter the list and display only External courses with user-submitted completion data that is under pending review. This helps administrators quickly identify and process outstanding completion requests. For more details, refer to Completion Data Functionality.
Actions Menu: The Actions menu provides the following options:
Customize Columns: Choose which columns to display or hide in the table.
Download User Certificates: Download certificates for all users who completed the course.
Reset Progress: Reset the progress data for the course.
Downloading Course Certificates
As learners complete their assigned courses, you can download certificates for all users who have passed a specific course:
In the Curriculum table, locate the desired course.
Click the Download Certificates option available for that course.
A confirmation pop-up will appear, informing you that an archived file containing certificates for the users will be generated. You can choose to Include previous course cycles of requested course if needed, then click Download certificates to proceed.
Once the export process is started, a confirmation pop-up will appear with a link to the Reports section, where you can review and download the file. Click Go to reports to be redirected.
Inside the Reports page, click the Download button to save the .zip file containing all available certificates for that course.
Viewing and Managing Course’s Statistics
The Curriculum section provides quick links to access detailed course-level data and user list information.
Course Name: Click on any Course Name in the table to open the Course Statistics page for that specific course. This page provides a comprehensive overview of learner engagement and progress for the selected course.
Progress Columns: Click on any number within the In Progress, Viewed, or Passed columns to open a filtered User List View showing only the users who match that specific progress status for the course.
Course Statistics Page
When you click on a Course Name, the Course Statistics page displays individual learner data for the selected course, including Username, Full Name, Group, Email, Employee ID, Progress percentage, Start Date, Viewed/Passed status, and Cycles including the following controls:
Generate Report: Click Generate Report to export detailed statistics for this course. Once the export process is started, a confirmation pop-up will appear with a link to the Reports section, where you can review and download the file.
Search and Filters: Use the following tools to narrow down the user list:
Search Users: Search field to find specific users by name or username.
Groups: Dropdown filter to display users from selected groups only.
Progress: Dropdown filter to show users with specific progress status (e.g., In Progress, Viewed, Passed).
Actions Menu: For each user row, the Actions menu provides options to:
Reset Progress: Reset an individual user's progress for this course.

Bulk Actions: Use the checkboxes from the table to select multiple users at once. Once selected, you can perform a Bulk Reset Progress action to reset progress for several users simultaneously.
