How to Share Your Course Completion Certificate

The Certificate Sharing functionality is designed to increase user engagement and promote professional development. Sharing certificates on social media helps showcase completed courses and promotes the user’s professional growth. In Learning Portal, users can easily share their certificates to LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Facebook directly, helping to increase visibility and credibility within their professional networks.

Requirements

Before sharing a certificate, make sure you meet these prerequisites:

✅ Active account with access to the learning Portal

✅ Course completion certificate available for sharing

Steps to Follow

  1. Navigate to Your Assignments
    Go to the page displaying your course completion certificate (e.g., Course page, Assignments page, My Progress page).

  1. Click on the Download Button to Download the Certificate in PDF.

  1. Sharing Your Certificate on Social Media
    You can share your certificate on social media either using the built-in share options or by manually posting the certificate link.

Using the Share Button

  1. Open the page where your certificate is displayed.

  2. Click the Share button on the certificate.

  3. Select a sharing option, such as:

    • Share on X (Twitter) – Opens X with a pre‑filled post and certificate preview.

    • Share on LinkedIn – Opens LinkedIn with pre‑filled certificate details.

    • Share on Facebook – Opens Facebook’s share interface with a certificate preview.

The certificate’s Share option allows users to Copy the link for easy sharing. When the link is clicked or previewed in a post, the certificate opens in a new browser tab.

Expected Result

After following the above steps, your course completion certificate will be shared on your selected social media platform (LinkedIn, Twitter (X), or Facebook). On your profile, the certificate preview will be visible with a direct link to the certificate page.
